I got addicted a little too late... just finished up season 2 a few weeks ago. Cant wait till this season comes out on dvd so i can see whats been goin on!

Word. Tonights episode was kick ass. It faltered a little bit mid-way through season three, but finished up strong.

That was excellent. Just to make a bit of sense of it....

They crashed the plane a few years ago right. Since that crash they have been on the island for 90 days i think.

What is usually a flashback in the final was not the future and was not the past it was the present.

The present being 24 May 2007. So it seems he has been off the island for about 3 years i am guessing.

It was also very obvious how they kept showing us Jacks mobile phone. That mobile phone is the same as mine. It is the latest Motorola V6maxx


That was a grand season Finale.


I am guessing it was Lockes funeral and Kate still lives with Sawyer. However Someone on another board said they could read the paper Jack had and it was an article, not an obit. The headline was Los Angeles man found dead. It said he was found hanging from a beam in his apartment from suicide and the first 2 letters on the name were Ja...!

The name of the funeral home, Hoffs Drawlar, is an anagram for flash forward.

When the Oceanic website was up during S1, there was a posting on it saying the airline had gone out of business due to the crash of Flight 815 and the ensuing lawsuits.

Finding the Losties would have allowed the company to come back from business death. Therefore it apparently gave each of the survivors a lifetime free pass to fly Oceanic wherever and whenever they wanted to.

Really good way to end this season.
Kinda shit you have to wait until febuary 2008 to see anymore though

Ben told Jack if he completed the call, every LIVING person on the Island would die, right? Ben misleads but rarely lies- Naomi was NOT who she claimed to be. Jack and co. make it off the island- are they really dead after all?

Speaking of dead, why is Mikhail so damn hard to kill? He's the only person who appears to die on the island without staying dead!

I thought Charlie had a nice "noble" death- the last 2 episodes made me like him again.

The last half of the season came back strong. I think I read somewhere that from now on, they are going to follow Fox's lead and air the remaining seasons 24 style- showing the complete season in consecutive episodes, no repeats and no long breaks between new episodes. That would be a welcome change!

I don't know about that... Jack referred to him, but Jack was also flying quite high at the time... we never actually saw him. And there was a new chief of surgery (wasn't that Jack's father's position?)

Mikhail cant die. It is the islands healing powers. I think there will bealot more people who die next season due to this rescue, I also do not think this rescue takes anyone of the island but claire and the baby. Remember there is a 3 year time difference between them on the island and the present time flash we saw.

I think Charlies death was excellent and i think it will get him alot more tv work as well, however i do not see why he needed to die at all. Why did he not go out the door and close it?

Maybe because it was in desmonds vision so he had to do it, though he survived all of desmonds other visions without changing things...

I really think that Finale was better than the first episode of season 2 and one of the best season finales i have ever watched of any show. The producers did a fantastic job.

I think lost has just made the show a hell of alot more interesting, I love how sawyer killed tom and jack is ready to kill. So much emotion in the characters now.

I don't think Jack was being delusional about his father. I think they both work in the worst hospital ever, and that hospital allowed both of them to return after the "rescue". Jack was stealing meds and the new chief of staff said NOTHING? Just asked how much he had to drink, not how many oxys he popped with the booze? Didn't mention the controlled substances he stole or ask him to turn out his pockets? We'll see more of Jack's bad dad next season.

Not STILL alive, alive again on the island of bad dads. Remember the empty coffin? Only people who die ON the island stay dead (except for Mikhail.....). If you died off the island, anything goes.

I think it's Micheal in the casket. I think "older walt" can do the same kind of time thingy that desmond does - he was 'present day' walt, showing himself to locke because his dad had just killed himself.

when they are on the island and when they were doing the flashthingy there was a difference in 2 and a half years time wise. The newspaper had a date on it and the latest mobil phone was sold first in october last year so that theory does not work.

However, it could very well be michael but jack said he was not a friend, so more like Locke, ben or juiliete.

Why doesn't the theory work? Michael WOULD be eaten up with guilt and suicidal, and Walt is clearly older than he was. That could be the writers' way of explaining the growth spurt that cost the child actor who played Walt his job.

Speaking of growth spurts, did you get a look at Claire's HUGE baby? The one that is supposed to be what? 2 months old? Or is that the Island's magical powers again?

I don't think Future Kate ends up with Jack or Sawyer. She might go back to the cop/ fiancee/ husband that she left behind when she went to Australia. Sawyer will push her away now that he really is a killer- you noticed how easily he killed the last one, right?

Hey, you may be right though as they did ask mike to apperar int he episode but he was busy, you may be on to something. I just think jack would of said he was his friened when asked if he was friend or family instead of replying saying 'neither'.

I think the size of the baby is not irrelevent seeing as they use one of the production crews child as the baby.

I agree that kate may be with one that cop, or maybe kate just had to get back to her son??

Anyway, this is all doing my head in now, that was a fucking excellent finale and could really be about anything. Shame we have to wait 9 months to get any answers at all.

I look forward to the next season more than i looked forward to this season thats for sure.

After Michael killed 2 of them and betrayed them all, would Jack still call him a friend? I'm not sure if it was Michael in the coffin or not, but I like the theory. And, I'm disappointed they didn't get to explore Walt's "special talents" any more than they did. It would be nice to see more of Walt next season.

I still keep coming back to what Ben said about every LIVING person on the island being killed if Jack made the rescue call.

Then I think next season will focus more on the 'now' time, with some flashbacks to the rescue & whatnot. The writers are smart enough, and have enough of the 'big pieces' figured out, that if they wanted us to see Walt in actual island time (a couple of years ago) they would have filmed them before Walk grew up, or even did some fancy computer work to put him in as still young. I think present-day Walt might have explained to Locke what happened, and that's why he was so hell-bent on stopping them. I dunno... guess I have awhile to wait to see if I'm right

The new camp on the island is going to focus around the four toed statue. (the temple).

the people on the way are the people naomi was working with, bad people... I actually think they are the real 'DHARMA' people that ben killed.
