Spanish is a very tricky language, so I'll try and type slowly so you all can understand. El goes before any english word that could be construed as masculine. On the other hand, La will be used for the feminine. Also, all nouns end in O or A.

So, armed with this knowledge, let's give it a try.

I'll have a beer: I'll have an el beero.

The girl is beautiful: La girla is la beautifula

My name is Randy: My namo is el Randy.
