BIGUN 1,483 #2 August 29, 2006 Unless I'm missing something, they don't make third-party transactions; they just deliver vehicles from door-door.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
pela 0 #3 August 29, 2006 Hmmm... please check the service they offer ;) this is what they seying ------ SAFE EXCHANGE SERVICE This service was created for that kind of transactions where the buyer doesn't have a contact with the seller. This transactions you meet on the internet. With this service the transactions are safe. Safe Exchange Service collects the product and the payment and ship the product to the buyer part. The buyer part has the agreed days to inspect the product and to send a confirmation email. After that email E Fast Delivery will transfer the money to the selleradrenaline
BIGUN 1,483 #4 August 29, 2006 That's the last paragraph of the "Services" page. http://www.efastdelivery.com/services.php Even their FAQs page only discusses vehicle delivery. http://www.efastdelivery.com/faq.phpNobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. pela 0 #5 August 30, 2006 So here is the story I sow this rig in Classifieds http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/detail_page.cgi?ID=38819&d=1 and the owner want to use that kind of service. but as meny people I ask no one had heard of them. Here is how it works 1 Owner sending that rig to the agency 2 Agency e-mailing me notes that they received and they waiting for payment from me 3 they receiving payment and sending rig to me 4 I'm inspecting the rig, if I like it, I e-mail to agency "go head send the money to seller". Sounds like a good idea but I'm not so sure about that service, it could be the same person seller and exange service any feed back ?adrenaline
BIGUN 1,483 #6 August 30, 2006 Well, since jurneytofreddy (seller) has no personal information in their profile, I can only make half a recommendation since I don't know what DZ they are near. Most DZO'S or the Chief Rigger will act as escrow agent for parachute sales. 1. The seller takes the rig to them; 2. They email you they have it; 3. You send the rigger the money which they escrow 4. Rigger sends you the rig for inspection 5. You email the rigger and owner upon receipt, 6. You have X number of days for rigger inspection 7. If you accept or reject within X days; you notify the rigger 8. If accepted; the money is released to the seller 9. If rejected; you have Y days to get it back to the rigger 10. If rigger does not receive rig back in Y days, money goes to the seller 11. If rigger receives rig in Y days; the rig is turned back over to the seller and the rigger sends you the money back. I used to do this all the time when I had a DZ - charged $35.00. Don't do it any more since I travel so much and don't have a DZ for dropoffs. I'm going to ask Bonnie (GravityGirl); who owns Gravity Gear to step in to see if she offers this service or can recommend someone who does.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. GravityGirl 0 #7 August 31, 2006 Since this has come up a lot now here on DZ.com, I have had many requests to act as mediator. I figured this would be an occasional thing, so I declared that my fee for this service would be a bottle of nice wine. I have had a flood of requests. The sad thing is, I have not enjoyed even one bottle of wine with my friends. So that sort of didn't work out. I would like to encorporate this type of service into my busniess. It is, in fact, on my long, long list of things to do. Anyone who has input on a menu of services, along with suggested pricing, feel free to PM me. The Inspection part is pretty standard. We have set prices for that. But holding of funds, processing credit cards, packaging and shipping of product. That is going to take some time and input. It does involve a certain amount of liability as well. So I don't want to go into this without proper planning. So. I'm welcome to consumer input. Any anyone out there who owes me wine.... PAY UP! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
