Time for another grue recipe: Key lime pie!

Give in to deliciousness, fools.

You'll need:

A pie tin
Eight eggs
Butter
7-8 decent-sized limes. Get real key limes if you can, for authenticity. I'm not rich, so I can't :(
Two cans of condensed sweetened milk (14oz / 400g)
16-18 graham crackers, crushed (not pictured)
3-ish tablespoons of sugar (not pictured)
A cheese grater (not pictured)
A whisk (not pictured)

Using the smallest holes on the grater, grate off the skin of the lime until you have about two tablespoons of zest. At this point, slice the limes and juice them until you have 1 full cup of lime juice.

Add eight egg yolks

Beat them together, then beat in the milk, then the lime juice. Let this concoction sit at room temperature.

Next, melt 4 tablespoons of butter.

Take the butter, add in the graham crackers with the sugar, and mix well.

Mold the mixture to the bottom and sides of your pie pan. Using the bottom of a measuring cup is a good way to get the bottom flat.

Bake the crust at about 350°F / 180° C for, oh, 10 minutes or so.

Pull it out, let it cool for a few minutes, and pour in the filling, and throw it back in the oven for another 10-12 minutes.

Pull it out, let it cool to room temp, then throw in the fridge for at least 3-4 hours.

Put on whipped cream if you want, and enjoy :)
