BillyVance 35 #1 May 31, 2007 Some of you know I'm always a few months behind the rest of you when it comes to movies. I rented this and watched it last night. The acting? okay. The action? pretty good. The editing and how the story flows? A major headache to follow! This is not one of the better Bond films, IMO... kingbunky 3 #2 May 31, 2007 i liked the opening chase sequence. better than the usual car chase."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." MB4252 TDS699 killing threads since 2001
BillyVance 35 #3 May 31, 2007 Quotei liked the opening chase sequence. better than the usual car chase. Fuck yeah... that was unbelievable. I know there's a term for that kind of activity but damned if I can remember what it's called. But in real life, chases involve leaps of one story, maybe two at the most."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
kingbunky 3 #4 May 31, 2007 parkour i think, or maybe free-running also works."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart." MB4252 TDS699 killing threads since 2001

It wasn't in the sense that it was hard to follow the plot. The rest of the movie was good. And yes, Parkour, that's the term I remember... Crazy shit! I got a laugh out of the scene where the black dude jumps through an opening in the wall 6 feet off the floor and Bond just smashes through the drywall. Richards 0 #7 May 31, 2007 Strangely, while I am actually not a Bond fan I quite enjoyed this one. I guess I just liked the fact that they changed things up so much. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

Good point. However, the holding his breath long enough to dive down and save his girl from the elevator car after she'd already drowned was ridiculous. Looked like he'd exhaled most of his air already. And the Parkour chase at the construction area with the cranes was off the wall too, but you gotta have some craziness! jlmiracle 7 #13 May 31, 2007 ***This is not one of the better Bond films, IMO... Agreed. They did a couple things that pizzed me off for a Bond movie. 1st James Bond should not look beat up and have all those cuts and bruises even after taking a serious azz kicking and most importantly - YOU DON"T BUST 007's BALLS. I was actually pizzed off at that part and they could have had more gadgets and gizmos. I want Pierce Bronson back!
