pinkfairy 0 #27 June 4, 2007 Quote . To me, loosing that ability to gain joy out of the shortest moments, the glimpses of life around me, would be devastating. No. Not at all. Won't happen. You're still you even if you punch through the air at 120mph from time to time. There are small moments in skydiving too, like the wonderful pink clouds on the sunset load or the nice opening you got from your own pack job. But in the end, you decide if you want to skydive or not. You don't have to. It's normal to be worried, but when i did AFF I was more worried that my parachute wasn't going to open. Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you?
pinkfairy 0 #28 June 4, 2007 Quote I called the whole family over to the window the other day because my magnolia tree bloomed for the first time. They weren't quite as excited as I was. Magnolia is a very good reason for excitement! Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you? pug 0 #32 June 4, 2007 Quote If you think skydiving's too much fun, sex is just gonna kill you. That's all I've got say. Never managed a 24-hour afterglow before, and yet I was still feeling the rush from the skydives after that time... Maybe I just have a hypersensitive endorphin system. brianfry713 0 #33 June 5, 2007 I too start to get worried when I haven't jumped in a week.If you want to jump, go to your DZ and jump. I don't always skydive just for the rush, it's fun just to fly and have fun with cool people. If all you are looking for is a rush, there are other ways to get it, either by trying something new skydiving or doing something unrelated.
