2fat2fly 0 #1 June 5, 2007 Just got back from the vet. A dog that we're sitting got in a fight with one of our dogs and got her butt handed to her (don't ask how they got in to it-that's an ax I'll have to grind when the better half gets home) So now I'm going to have a several hundred dollar vet bill for a dog that's not mine and I didn't want here in the first place. And, if it were my dog that were injured I could have treated it myself but sisnce it's not, I feel obligated to cop for the stitches.I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
BillyVance 35 #2 June 5, 2007 I thought it was common sense when bringing another dog in the house, to keep it separated from your dogs at least at first. Then let them check each other out under supervision of course. If there's any hint of trouble, keep them apart. Hell, I have no dogs and never want any so what do I know. You cant just bring in a strange dog and leave them together __ My mighty steed
2fat2fly 0 #4 June 5, 2007 I can go one better-we knew that these dogs didn't get along and have managed to keep them seperated for a week but for some reason this morning, the other resident of my house let visitor dog in the front yard with our dogs and even though everyone was on leashes or runners, let them get close enough to fight.
