froglady 0 #1 June 5, 2007 Was wondering where all my sunflower seeds were going. Very fun to watch them glide from tree to tree, I'd have never guessed they lived in our yard. Anyone else have them? Try to capture some photos in the next couple of days. It drives my dad nuts and he has for years tried to keep them off. I saw one munching on the seed in the pan, slowly opened the sliding glass door inch by inch so as not to scare it off. Once I had it opened wide enough for me to come through, I burst through with a blood curdling yell, coming within a foot of the squirrel, who immediately jumped 2 feet in the air and bolted for the edge of the porch and jumped to the ground 25 feet below!
