skydivermom 0 #1 May 10, 2007 One of my good friends contacted me yesterday with some horrifying news. Her husband was among the four men kidnapped by the Nigerians! She was able to speak to him around 3 PM our time yesterday so she at least knew he was alive! I haven't heard any updates since last night. Please send prayers/vibes her way This is awful.Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:

ImGunnaJump 0 #6 May 11, 2007 My prayers added for his safe return..."...I've learned that while the "needs" in life are important (food, water, shelter), it's the "wants" in life (ice cream, chocolate, sex) that make it worth the effort." bob.dino 1 #7 May 11, 2007 Good luck. If it's any consolation, kidnapped Western oilmen are usually released unharmed after the payment of a ransom. It's a pretty messed-up situation in Nigeria - the local peoples of the Niger Delta haven't really shared in the oil wealth and are quite bitter about their treatment at the hands of the Nigerian government.
