brabzzz 0 #1 August 17, 2006 Will a Pilot 140, brain and PDR126/Smart 135 squeeze into a V308 (or equivalent...they're the V's sized for a PD ZP 135 and PDR126's/Raven135's) Anyone jumping it? Anyone managed to beat a 150 in there too? I know what the manufacturer says is what they say, but my I4 with 150/150 is far from hard and my Teardrop with 170/170 was squishy too. And they had the recommended canopies in. I really don't want to buy a new rig and find out that yeah, i could have got the smaller one. --------------------------------------- Ex-University of Bristol Skydiving Club www.skydivebristoluni.com
Squeak 17 #2 August 17, 2006 well my 308 has a Stiletto 135 and a PD126R and a friend has a 150 in hers, her is a little on the tight side to pack so I'd say YUP, there is room to move for your 140You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
smiler 0 #3 August 18, 2006 Mike, have a look at Kate's rig - she's got a V308 with a PD126R, Cypres and Pilot 132. And my V306 has got a MicroRaven 120, Pilot 124 and Cypres 2 but it is TIGHT!! I packed a PD126R into it twice in 2 days and had to admit that it looked pregnant! Kind of 3 months gone rather than 5 though if that helps! This is a bit unscientific, but the 306 says it's made for a Stiletto 120 and I can squeeze a Pilot 124 in there. So as the 308 is made for a Stiletto 135, I'd say putting a Pilot 140 in there would be about the same. I really don't think i'd get a 132 in mine, so that'd indicate the 150 won't fit in yours.www.wingin-it.co.uk Wingin' It wingsuit school
