I loved this show as a kid, watched it during the Peter Davidson and Colin Baker era. Even went to a convention in Valley Forge, PA and got to shake Colin's hand. I guess that officially makes me a nerd.

Recently I saw an episode on Sci Fi channel and I was impressed with it. I'm getting cable soon so maybe I'll make a habit of watching the newer episodes.

Yup. The sets, costumes and props were cheap, and the scripts were so-so, but the acting was first-rate. Blake's Seven is one of those shows that had such contradictions, but was still worth watching.
