I generally go for something I can bring back to the office to eat.Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

matt1215 0 #7 June 19, 2007 I'd go for Qdoba . I wish we had those here, I'm at the chow-hall today. Pasta-day's fairly decent, but a lot of the stuff they serve is just nasty shit . And why would BDU's be inappropriate, esp if you're going where-ever for lunch? I tend to go home and change after work, or at least lose my BDU top before I hit places like Publix, but for lunch . I just tend to think the VIP room that Shane is refering to isn't a particularly proper place for an Officer to be walking into/out of... at least in uniform... appearances and all... nevermind the fact that as I understand it the ones around here aren't all that great... (and frankly I don't think Shane's being serious... ... well he might be being serious but I think he knows me well enough to realize I'm not likely to take him seriously... )Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife... simplyputsi 0 #12 June 19, 2007 you should be cooking at night so that you have enough for lunch the next day. Then you could avoid such dilemmas as you are having now. Go to qdoba by the way. Skymama's #2 stalker -

I do have time to cook though... just not lunch... Every time I see Andrea posting, I'm reminded that I should pack a lunch and a thermos of coffee, but I don't. Almost every day I spend $5 on a mocha before work, $5 on a brownie and cup of regular coffee mid-morning, and $8-$15 on a restaurant lunch. That $20+ per day could definitely be better spent.
