Gawain 0 #1 June 21, 2007 My buddy here in Ft Campbell just ordered a P3, but it's on mega-back-order. He's thinking about alternatives, and wanted to know if anyone know about the "Snapshot"... These are the high-performace ram-air kites that we wish we could jump... So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! Stumpy 284 #2 June 21, 2007 Looking at the site, if you want to do jumping you will be better off with the bigger kites (P2 P3 P4, or maybe the biggest snapshot unless its REALLY windy where you are!) Just spoke to a couple of friends about these and apparently they are nice kites but wouldn't be classed at the "high performance" end of the market, more in the intermediate range. But thats fine if you haven't flown much! I'd suggest getting kites that can be flown on 4 lines though, especially if you have any wish to attach yourself to a board/buggy at any stage in the future!Never try to eat more than you can lift
Shotgun 1 #3 June 21, 2007 We have two of the Prisms. They're ok, but we also have a Slingshot trainer kite, which (I think) is way more fun to fly. I don't know anything about the Snapshot though.
Kid_Icarus 0 #4 June 21, 2007 Hello, I used to be a dealer for HQ kites. I have a few "Rush 200's" trainers in stock. $90 plus shipping. They are super fun to fly! http://www.powerkites.de/modules.php?name=prod&art=Rush_II&l=e ________________________________________ "What What.....
