Skolls081102 0 #1 June 22, 2007 I was waiting for someone else to post this, but I guess I'll get i started. Previous week weight- 270.2 Current week weight- 269.0 Weight change- -1.2pounds Thats 19 pounds to go before my first skydive. I know its cheating, but it was nice to see 266.4 pounds after my 2 hours of Jiu Jitsu today. The 269 was my wake up this morning weight. The sole intention, is learning to fly.Condition grounded, but determined to try. Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies.Tongue tied and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit. ACMESkydiver 0 #2 June 22, 2007 Hooray, you're on your way! Me for the week: Low carb (about 20 total carbs per day) -which puts me at about 900-1590 calories per day, so that's definitely helping This week 3 pounds / 9 pounds total Yippee! And I started pilates and stuff... ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
peregrinerose 0 #3 June 22, 2007 I started about 2 months ago at 155.5, today was 139.0 Goal is 125, so 16.5 down, 14 to go! Of course I'm heading out for a nice dinner with my husband, but my body seems to do best when I give it one meal a week of 'real' food. Today's the day. I hit the local consignment shop today to get some new clothes since most of mine are too big. Do or do not, there is no try -Yoda

tigra 0 #5 June 22, 2007 I might even have gained a pound, but I'm not too worried. I hit the gym every day this week for at least an hour of cardio, and got up early a couple of mornings for crunches and stuff. The scale isn't budging, but my clothes keep getting looser, my endurance is improving and I've got muscle definition in my legs! Now, if only I could get up early enough to get to the gym for cardio in the morning! The problem with doing it at night is that I get home late and hungry! Plus the "endorphin rush" makes it hard to fall asleep at a decent hour!
pwln 0 #6 June 24, 2007 This week on friday I was 197, that's down 2 more for a total of 3. Only 22 more to go.

Plus the "endorphin rush" makes it hard to fall asleep at a decent hour! My hubby and I have the exact same problems with late-night. Joe went running at midnight the night before last because he couldn't get it in any earlier, and ended up awake for hours. Great job, pw, and peregrinerose! I didn't get to the gym today, however. Joe wanted to run to the club, do some weights, and run home, so i had to watch the boys. I was only going to walk on the treadmill for quite literally a few minutes and then leave. I'm trying to force myself into a DAILY gym habit no matter how much i end up doing. This morning I woke up to such immense muscle pain from yesterday's stupid ol' pilates class that I had a hard time lifting a pitcher of water to pour a glass...I'll just head upstairs and walk a few minutes and keep trying to stretch. I will exercise every day. I will exercise every day. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
Beerlight 0 #8 June 25, 2007 Muscle pain???? Sounds like your working at it too hard. Slow it down some, no need to injure yourself!! Plus, I've found that pain tends to make people stop going. Also, is everyone weighing themselves in the morning? same time every morning?

pwln 0 #14 June 26, 2007 Every morning seems like a little too much. Most scales that people use will fluctuate a little. It really is best to just have a weekly weigh in. I weigh myself nekkid, in the morning, after a good poop. Next time I go to the doctor, should I get that way before I let them weigh me?
