dmetz 0 #1 August 6, 2006 I tried a search but didn't find anything. Are there any particular "bad" DOM years of the Sabre2? I think I remember hearing of it before, but not sure. Thanks. ntacfreefly 0 #2 August 6, 2006 No, not that I'm aware of. If you are having an issue with a PD canopy I HIGHLY recommend giving them a shout. I think you'll find they'll bend over backwards to help you figure it out. dmetz 0 #3 August 6, 2006 No issues on my end; I don't even have a Sabre2. Just browsing the classifieds and the thought popped in my head. Maybe it was the Sabre1 that I was thinking of that had some better years than others._________________________________________ "If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?" ntacfreefly 0 #4 August 6, 2006 It may have been the Crossfire. They had some Crossfire1's that had recalls a few years ago. skymama 37 #5 August 7, 2006 I had problems with my first Sabre 2, it was one of the earlier releases from 2001. PD ended up test jumping it and giving me another canopy last year. I don't know if the whole batch was bad though, it was probably just my bad luck. The Sabre 2 I have now is good so far.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Pendragon 1 #6 August 7, 2006 I know of someone who had similar issues with a Sabre2 in the UK, again one of the very early versions. It was sent back and a replacement issued. I believe the line trim was the problem. I haven't heard of anything like that since, only satisfied customers.-- BASE #1182 Muff #3573 PFI #52; UK WSI #
