Gawain 0 #1 July 2, 2007 En route to Florida, Atlantis, and it's 747 (tail number 905) landed at Fort Campbell today. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! sundevil777 102 #4 July 2, 2007 They are taking the strangest route from CA to FL. So far I guess it is Edwards AFB to Amarillo to Omaha to Kentucky to Florida, assuming they don't stop somewhere else. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

BillyVance 35 #8 July 2, 2007 When the test shuttle Enterprise was doing its flying and landing tests waaaay back when, I remember going out to the Redstone Arsenal's airport to see it up close when they brought it out for display. The next day it was to take off and fly somewhere, and I had to be in school. The school made an announcement that the shuttle would be doing a fly-over on its way out of town so everyone went outside, and there it was, on the 747, flying over the mountain in Huntsville, AL. That was cool... ltdiver 3 #13 July 3, 2007 Quote Nice picture, I'd love to see that in person. Too cool. Before the first shuttle few they were doing a tour with the 747 and shuttle at an airshow I was fortunate enough to attend. Yes, it was too cool. Wish I had taken a picture. I wasn't the geek I am now, back then. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
