shropshire 0 #1 July 6, 2007 If you want to fly paragliders in CA go meet the guys and girls from Torrey Pines.... I've just spent a week with 4 of them in Switzerland and they are really nice LA based folks, so thought that I'd give them a plug. (.)Y(.) virgin-burner 1 #4 July 6, 2007 actually it went from thursday to sunday, thursday no jumping if i'm correct, friday, saturday and the morning, early afternoon of sunday were just perfect! a bit windy, but for the more experienced ones good to go. wanted to actually downsize the first time friday, as soon as i finished packing, manifest called a hold on the students out. bad luck, but i looks good for this weekend. i think i'll try to get 10 jumps in! “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. The weather for saturday looks a little better than we drive home Sunday....... But we'll be back, it's a wonderful area to spend some time... Next time I'll bring my rig too and take a look at Bex (just down the road from here). CYA (.)Y(.)
