BillyVance 35 #1 July 9, 2007 Just watched the DVD last night. Kind of a strange story, some virus renders the world's women unable to have children, and thus no babies are born for 18 years, worldwide... Goofy, eh? Until one woman gets pregnant and a group is trying to get her out of England safely. Even then, it was okay. Good action and a very intense urban war battle in a refugee city near the end."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban
Fast 0 #2 July 9, 2007 I have seen it. I thought the movie did a great job of portraying what keeps humanity in check and how the world could be affected if people didn't care at all about the future. Seeing it in the theater I was quite moved by it. The whole thing was put together really well. They might have done a better job explaining things, but I have to wonder if they didn't purposfully leave it to the viewer to fill in the blanks based on thier own life experience.~D Where troubles melt like lemon drops Away above the chimney tops That's where you'll find me. BillyVance 35 #6 July 9, 2007 QuoteRead the book...it's MUCH better :) That's usually the case. Most books are better reading than the movies made out of them. I was looking it up last night online too."Mediocre people don't like high achievers, and high achievers don't like mediocre people." - SIX TIME National Champion coach Nick Saban

Best bit of all. The song that plays over the closing credits. Jarvis Cocker singing "Cunts are still running the world". A perfect sentiment expressed in three minutes.
