shortyj 0 #1 July 10, 2007 If you get a bulletin that says "I AM DELETING MY MYSPACE" Don't open it. Because it does. You have like 2 min to fix. Anyway if you were on my friends list pm your myspace url or e-mail. Meanwhile I will be fixing and re uploading EVERYTHINGPlaytime is essential. normiss 901 #5 July 10, 2007 given the embedded nature of bulletins, they should be considered links. I prefer to never open them...my friends that communicate with me on myspace either post a comment or send a message, or a personal e-mail for that matter. If I need to go to their space to see a blog or something I always go there directly, not via any sort of hyper link...just to be safe. you just have to be very careful and cautious on myspace....it's loaded with landmines

Conundrum 1 #11 July 10, 2007 So do these mysterious bulletins not have a random username next to them or are they coming from people on your friends list that you don't know (or do know)?

Icon134 0 #24 July 10, 2007 Quote I would hope not. She has posted bulletins before. The way i understand it if you post post a bulletin it goes to everyone on your friends list. that's very possible... but what Conundrum is saying is that your friend's account might have been hacked... i.e. some malicious person figured out her password... (there may be other methods as well but I think that's the most common occurance...) then the hacker posts a bulletin with some sort of malicious code... for all of the users friends to enjoy... Conundrum 1 #25 July 10, 2007 Quote I would hope not. She has posted bulletins before. The way i understand it if you post post a bulletin it goes to everyone on your friends list. It does, but what I'm saying is... does your friend know she's posting a virus? Is it just a randomly generated bulletin that was posted from her account? I'm just trying to figure out why she posted it.
