DeNReN 0 #1 July 9, 2007 Was whippersnipping around the DZ today... Doing the 4th trailer in line...out pops a brown furry thing...low and behold its a lil ity bity baby bunny...it groweled/barked at me...hard to describe the noise it made..but it wasnt happy...thought I had hit it with the snipper ... It proceeded to stay still....found another at the other end of the trailer.....it was sitting still also...I looked around for others and a moma..but none were around....I gave the 1st one a quick once over again but was soo wooried that I hit it ...I had to move it around to check(I know...shouldnt touch baby wildlife)..looked fine no signs of a hit later on the day.....a nest had been made by Trish(manifest)from all the long grass that was snipped...there are now 4 Baby Bunnies I call the active one Chomper

Lindsey 0 #8 July 9, 2007 Last time I saw a bunch of baby bunnies, they were flying in pieces out from under the lawn mower. Ugh. An ear here. A let there. Are they really that distructive? Yikes. It's bad enough that we have this unstable soil here which tends to shift and settle, requiring concrete repair. Two years ago I spent $1200 to bring in a mudjacker to fill the holes under my driveway, steps, and front porch and bring them back up to level. The fact that the *($*(!!! rabbits were also digging holes under it made it worse. Now the patio in the backyard is tilting and sinking and the goddamn rabbits are digging holes under it as well. So I'm looking forward to spending more money. The "mud" they pump in contains a percentage of cement, so hopefully that will put an end to digging under the patio. It seemed to solve the problem at the front of the house."There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.
