vskydiver 0 #51 July 12, 2007 Quote I have gotten REALLY partial to Orville Redenbachers Kettle Korn..... or the Safeway generic of it. The stuff has ruined me for normal greasy buttered popcorn..... so light and no aftertaste coating of the mouth after eating stuff like theater popcorn.... Have you tried the microwave Butter Kettle Korn. Walmart is the only place I've seen it. Act II or Pop Secret is the brand name. Can't remember which exactly. It's really good! cameramonkey 0 #53 July 12, 2007 Oil popped, lightly salted and left overnight to soften a bit. yes, sounds weird but reminds me of Grandma. when I was a kid she would make herself popcorn and watch TV that night. The next day I would stop by (we lived next door) and the remnants would still be on the stove in a pan with the lid on it. I'd grab a handful or two when it was ever so slightly softened (yet not stale). Yes, I also like it fresh, but the taste of that slightly "aged" popcorn brings back memories. Two wrongs don't make a right, however three lefts DO!
