Well apparently several different methods have been used over the years, and besides, I like the image of surgeons taking a tiny laboratory out of someone's head. For some reason I think the lab should be staffed by hamsters. Yeah, it's pretty creepy, and it wasn't all that long ago. Today we just give people drugs that we have little understanding of, but hey, at least we're not pounding ice picks into people's heads!
