Yes, for awhile I was pretty pissed off, but it's amazing what stepping back and taking a look will do for your perspective. As well as hearing from supportive people that far outnumber the non supportive people. And why bother posting here at all? I guess, because I can. And because I wanted Ralf to know that I appreciate his sentiments. IF I were being dramatic, I'd have posted something along the lines of "Fuck you all, I'm out of here and never coming back!" Sounds to me like some people consider that an internet forum is an important part of their lives and that they care too much about other people judging them. Sure this may be important to some people and each to their own but do those people realise that threads showing so much drama between people is also looked at as threads giving hundreds of other lurkers something to laugh at? When i met a whole lot of dz.commers at WFFC and heard how they have so much drama on this site that it was a huge suprise to me that people are so involved in each others lives and care so much about what others on this site think of them..... Kind of lame really. I have had a good argument with Satre before but in no way would i give a shit at what she thinks of me as a person as I am also not going to judge her as a person as there is no way possible i could even imagine judging someone without spending many days getting to know that person. I hope she keeps posting here, not because I like or dislike her and not because i read or dont read her posts but because I see her username in threads and that username is part of this community. There are many usernames i dont like to read and I am sure it works both ways but not for a second i would want any of those people to stop posting or have their feelings hurt. There are so many people in these forums, love them or hate them it is the contributing username to this community that makes this place such a great website. If people start taking or making things personal then these people must realise they are just making themselves part of a laughing stock around the world. I hope everyone keeps posting, nothing in these forums need to be personal and nobody should make it personal, especially not in the bonfire! So many members who made these forums what they are today have stopped posting here because of all the drama people are making and that is a shame. Back in 2001/2002 i saw a very tight community with so much knowledge to learn, now it seems like there is so many people here who make problems that do not need to exist. This is a skydiving forum for skydivers, it is not a place to come and have problems with other people. Deep down everbody in these forums care about each other as we are part of a minority sport and a very dangerous one at that. Why give each other grief over the internet when everyone here has such a high chance of being killed on a skydive at any given hour on any given day? Drama in these forums should not make anyone angry, they should realise that the people who take this place as drama are making themselves look very stupid to the thousands of others that read this bullshit.
