A mate just sent me this photo that he took of me whilst walking above Le Tour (Chamonix) the other week.

It's a fantastic walk in a beautiful area. Due to the bad weather a few days ealier, there was loads of fresh snow above 2000m...

Yes, it is, very close to the Swiss and Italian borders.
This was the one fine day in several bad ones.

Earlier in the walk, we came across a Marmot walking along our path (they are normally very shy). I'll post some of the pictures that I took when I've resized them.

From a fishing trip way out in the boonies of WV this past weekend. Had some luck & also found some cool rocks along the river with seashell imprints in them. Great weekend!!

So far, not much. But since I'm not on vacation yet, pics are slim.

I did get a pool to keep cool in.

So far my dog just looks at it and my cat drinks out of it.

Actually, since I took the pic, he now gets in there and "digs" ... and to be honest, I bought it for him to cool off in. So far so good!
