BillyVance 35 #1 July 25, 2007 A 2006 study found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year. That means, on average, Americans get about 41 miles per gallon. Not Bad, but it could be a lot better. simplyputsi 0 #3 July 25, 2007 I get much better mileage. I run 2/3 times a week above my walking. I hardly drink beer, let alon 22 gallons in a year. I must be averaging at least 90-100 mpg. Maybe it's because I'm a compact. Skymama's #2 stalker -

popsjumper 2 #7 July 25, 2007 I feel so ashamed that I'm no longer doing my part in keeping the beer taps flowing. On the bright side, it means more beer for the rest of you guys, right? My reality and yours are quite different. I think we're all Bozos on this bus. Falcon5232, SCS8170, SCSA353, POPS9398, DS239
