kallend 2,150 #1 July 26, 2007 My Dad was born in London. Cars were a novelty. Telephones were a novelty. There were no commercial radio stations. TV hadn't been invented. Titanic hadn't been built. Houses were mostly lit by gas lights. A "lamplighter" lit the street lights (gas) each evening. No powered airplane had flown in England. Effective antibiotics were still decades in the future. Milk and bread were delivered daily to your house. What changes 100 years make.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. BillyVance 35 #2 July 26, 2007 The last 100 years have seen the most drastic changes in the history of mankind. The next 100 years will outdo the last 100 years by a thousand-fold, if we don't all kill each other. It's the men that can't quite seem to complete their 70's... Hell, they probably thanked God they didn't have to.
