Lostinspace 0 #1 July 19, 2006 Yesterday was a slow day, so… I’m reading about rubber bands in my ponyter’s manual. It recommends treating you rubber band stows with silicone. Does anyone treat their rubber bands with silicon? edited: Someone does
airtwardo 7 #2 July 19, 2006 I do too. And I likely got the habit from the same place the guy in the link 'alan' did...from a dzo where he jumps. I saw them doing it 20 some years ago and gave it a try...the bands last at LEAST 50% longer! I also have been spraying it on my brake loops, seems to make them wear less too. ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~

The elastic keeper on your risers or the fingertrapped cat-eye on your control lines?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." My 'skydiving' canopy with soft toggles gets a 'shot in the eye' there IS no elastic keepers....my demo canopy with hard toggles gets it everywhere... ~ If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn? ~
