Remster 30 #26 July 28, 2007 Quoteminus everything else True for Aquafina (Pepsi's water): they filter all they can out. Not true for Dasani (Coke's water). They filter as much as thet can (same as Pepsi) but then add back some minerals and sodium to create a "better tasting water". Have fun: look at the sodium content of both waters.Remster
Lastchance 0 #27 July 28, 2007 Sorry but if you ever thought you were buying any thing but tap water you are sadly mistaken. I wouldn't give a penny for a bottle of water unless i was dying of thirst. My home water comes right out of the well in my back yard. I could bottle it and call it anything I want and be a millionaire. I've been telling people this for years but nobody listens. I used to work on a water well rig. We drilled a well for a guy who did just that cuz his ranch was going under. Now he is quite well off. And what Remster said has always been unbelievable for me. They say on the bottles that it has been filtered to take out all those nasty minerals but then if you read further they tell you they add minerals to enhance the flavor. I may be getting old but I got to see all the cool bands.
Snowwhite 0 #28 July 28, 2007 I just always figured that the water came from a magical spring in a mythical valley where the unicorns live, next to the tree where the elfs make the cookies. Really! One of our local municipalities announced they balanced their cities budget by bottling water and selling it for a buck a bottle, where it normally is something like 15 cubic feet of water for a buck. People can be so gulible sometimes.skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

sundevil777 102 #31 July 28, 2007 What source for their water would you have preferred? Any under or above ground water source can also be contaminated. Better to start with water that has already been through a municipal water system. Reverse osmosis is much more/different than just passing water through a conventional filter.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
