LOL - don't get me started on flavoured beers!! :D:D

And to the OP, ideally you want a really good real ale with that fish and chips - but good luck finding one in Arizona!
A darker beer would be better than a lighter one, something not too fizzy.

If he's a tur Brit' it wont matter what beer you serve as he'll be way too polite to complain ........ oh and it's free:P

BUT don't bugger up the fish and chips!!... make a good Beer batter for the fish. No I repeat NO microwave chips!!:D:D

Deep fry everything in Beef Dripping... yum yum.

have fun.

we have one of the best Chippies down in Anstruther harbour Just a couple of miles from the dz.Where they get haddock freshly caught and the light crispy batter is out off this world:)

Its bloody impossible to get in when the golf Open is on at St.Andrews you could wait 2 hours :o:(

Ok to the OP...

Fish and chips is first better served by replacing the fish with a bun and adding gravy, thus creating a Gravy Chip Butty. The beer you serve it with doesnt matter but I recommend Stella (belgian) or Carling (UK). :)

Well hell aye!! Lager all the way! :P although Carling Premier may be the best bet...

Aye I like onion gravy but on my butties it has to be chippy gravy (i.e. lumpy and thick as ya like). But mushy peas - NOOOOO! I have a fear of them little twats... :P

she's not polite, she's acually kind of a bitch. last time she loved the fish and chips, but bitched because i put them in parchment instead of newspaper. fuck her, i want as close as i can get to british for me. i have a good beer batter and use halibut. i deep fry it in vegetable oil though, not beef drippings. i fry the chips twice, microwave frys suck.
