SuperGirl 0 #5 July 31, 2007 here's a quick fix for you. I sometimes had that issue on some windows machines. first look at the name of the file listed on skydivingmovies and see what extension it has (.wmv, .mov, .mpeg etc) when you save the file, rename the .php to something that has the right extension (so instead of .php it should be .wmv or whatever it's supposed to be). jjiimmyyt 0 #6 July 31, 2007 I get the same thing from SDM, whether on Debian or Windows using Firefox/Ice Weasel, no other sites though. "This isn't an iron lung, people. You can actually disconnect and not die." -Dave
Peej 0 #7 July 31, 2007 Thanks Phree, i'll try it again but normally it gives me the "download from" link and if i click on that link the file will open in Quicktime or WMP and play automatically. If i right click and select "save as" it will save it as the .php to my Hard Drive. Any suggestions? Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky

popsjumper 2 #9 July 31, 2007 Ok...that was a fix but nobody has answered the question of "what is a PHP file?" Oh wait....rather than being lazy, I made the effort to find something myself: http://www.ask.com/web?q=what+is+a+.php+file%3F&search=search&qsrc=0&o=0&l=dir My reality and yours are quite different. pilotdave 0 #12 July 31, 2007 Just copy the correct filename before right clicking, then paste it in, instead of pafiledb.php when you try to save. Or rename it after downloading. The correct file is downloaded, but the filename gets screwed up. Tried a lot of tips to fix that, but could never get it to work correctly in firefox. Well, I did get it to work for a few hours, but then the server crashed. Had to undo that fix! Works correctly in internet explorer. Dunno about Safari... it crashed every time I tried.
