pinkfairy 0 #5 July 29, 2007 But the "veggie" bacon contains egg whites? Then it's not strictly veggie, it's veggie and egg... I could live without bacon. There are thousands of other good foods I could eat instead. If I were to avoid bacon, I wouldn't eat substitute bacon. Hey! look at the ingredients list! Ordinary bacon is "pig, salt, natrium nitrite" Relax, you can die if you mess up, but it will probably not be by bullet. I'm a BIG, TOUGH BIGWAY FORMATION SKYDIVER! What are you? ltdiver 3 #11 July 29, 2007 If you don't like it, it's all the more for us. Speaking as a life long vegetarian, I like the variety of diet this can give us. Since I've never tasted meat I don't compare the two. So, there's no conflict (taste-wise) in my mind. Nice to get our protein in a variety of ways. Why limit us? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

ltdiver 3 #19 July 29, 2007 Quote The way I look at it is if you don't wanna eat meat, why would you want to eat something that looks, smells and tastes like meat? I've been told, by those who have tasted both, that the vegitarian style (fake meat) doesn't taste at all like the real thing. And as I've said before, why limit us vegetarians in the ways we get our protein? I don't care if the manufacturers make it look like 'meat' or not. They way I prepare it it tastes good. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
