tigra 0 #2 August 1, 2007 I've got about 10 different playlists on my iPod just for workouts- anything from hard rock to country. I swear, my iPod is my best workout buddy! Lately though, I'm really into Latin dance music, especially for working out. It really keeps me moving! Reggaeton, Salsa, old Ricky Martin, stuff like that. Odd because I can't stand Hip Hop, Techno, Rap or "club mixes" as a general rule but I love the Reggaeton for some reason.
ACMESkydiver 0 #3 August 1, 2007 I'm either not intelligent enough, or my MP3 player isn't high-speed enough to set up multiple playlists. I'm kinda thinking it's a combination of both. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

ACMESkydiver 0 #10 August 1, 2007 Quote You? Whats that? Sorry.. Had to join in My hard core stuff is 'angry at the world for...no specific reason'. Actually, when I listen to some of the stuff from the late 80's and 90's, I think of all the people that told me I couldn't do it, put me down, pissed me off, or whatever -and it makes me work harder. I have an old colleague at the bank -he wasn't really a direct-report boss, but he was supposedly given the authority over our group of 14 to tell us WTH to do and his ego was WAY outta control- I always think of him, and specifically, one very public conference call beratement of me in front of my regional peers. He was an angry little gay man, and we just loathed each other. Anyhoo, I played Godsmack's unedited 'Go Away' so loud it rattled the windows in my truck leaving that conference call, and I still think of that when I hear the song. Music helps me keep going on cardio -I do the whole 'just one more song' mind game with myself until I find my second wind. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. I also wrote a blog post last year about why we listen to music when we workout... It's here: http://www.prdifferently.com/2006/07/my_2006_nyc_mar.html Happy reading. :D_______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
