The bears are forcing their way into many homes up high and lake level. In fact they are breaking into homes in the Reno area as well. This isn't anything new. A few years ago when I lived at the lake I was walking home drunk off my ass from a Chocolate and Wine tasting event and sure enough there was a bear at my from door. I froze and I thought I was going to get eaten but the bear took off ru[url]nning down the street and I ran in the house. It got into our garbage rammed our front door a few days later. David Coverdale lives in Incline. Everyone who lives in bear country knows that bears are there and can get into homes. I am not surprised one got into his house at all. The house I used to live in has had 4 bear break ins in the last month. ACMESkydiver 0 #6 August 4, 2007 My dad and his brothers saw a black bear on the golf course a few weeks ago. I guess they all froze, and the bear was hanging around their next tee-off spot. Dad's youngest brother, Roy, says, "Hey guys, we don't have to out run the bear. We just have to out run Don (my dad)." Dad had just gotten out of the ER with heart problems a couple of nights prior, and apparently Unlce Roy thought that was hilarious...I guess daddy didn't. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
