skymama 37 #1 August 6, 2007 I'm in dispute with a certain ex-Greenie over cake flavors and fillings. A chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse sounds yummy to me but his opinion was, "EWWWWWWW!". So, I'm asking what the masses think. If you don't like it, what other combinations do you like? What filling do you like with vanilla cake? She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

simplyputsi 0 #8 August 6, 2007 That is backwards. It should be peanut butter cake with chocolate mouse. I don't know how you make a peanut butter cake, but hey you are a greenie, figure it outI like me some cherries in my vanilla cake. I pretty much like almost all cakes, within reason. We are having cake here today. Vanilla cake with raspberry filling I believe. mwuahahahahahahahaha Skymama's #2 stalker -

Icon134 0 #11 August 6, 2007 Chocolate and Peanut butter together? That's a great idea!!! even better then chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse would be coating the peanut butter with milk chocolate and eating it like that!!! I'm soo going to market this and sell it to someone like Hersheys... Wait... What do you mean it's already been done!?! Are you kidding me? No... ok... I think that sounds like a excellent combination of Cake.... Personally I'm a big fan of the classics... (Carrot Cake with a cream cheese Icing) German Chocolate cake with homemade icing... but there ain't nuthin wrong with a little creativity as well... I wasn't hungry earlier... but now I am... Remster 30 #12 August 6, 2007 Wholly crap! I didnt know the icing was Vanilla!!!! Why dont you had a few more flavors while you are at it ! I'm a purist. White choco icing, regular choco cake, bitter sweet, very dark choco filling.Remster
Jewels 0 #13 August 6, 2007 I'm just not a huge peanut butter fan to begin with, so it's a harder sell where I'm concerned. I love vanilla cake with lemon filling, though. Or strawberry. Or raspberry. Or . . . yep, pretty much anything. TPM Sister #
