pela 0 #1 July 8, 2006 Hey I was searching forums and I found a lot of good stuff about re-line, but for one question can't find answer. I'm planing buy used canopy, it has about 200 jumps (I did not see it yet). Can any one tell me average number, after how many jumps we should re-line? that canopy is DOM 2004 thx for the feed back ;)adrenaline
councilman24 37 #2 July 8, 2006 Depends on the kind of line and perhaps the kind of canopy. Also the use. More information is necessary. Some would be due now. Some could go 800 jumps on some types of low performance canopies.I'm old for my age. Terry Urban D-8631 FAA DPRE

tdog 0 #4 July 8, 2006 QuoteAerodyne Pilot 168, but I don't know the type of lines in those. I have 450 jumps last year on a Pilot... The lines are still in good condition and in trim, except for the lower brake lines which have been damaged by the toggles/loops on the risers... flyhy 0 #6 July 8, 2006 abot 500-600 jumps for spectra (or whenever the canopy starts changing flying characteristix), abt 600 for vectran (or whenever lines wear out, esp keep eye on brake lines!!!)
