Fozz 0 #1 August 12, 2007 Just looking at some pics from my 100th jump and Jason was there I remember seeing him go low and thinking theres NO WAY he's going to make it back up but in a great display of good skydiving he docked just before break off I can't wait to see his video. monkycndo 0 #6 August 12, 2007 If the featherbutt freeflyer knew how to fly on his belly, he wouldn't have gone low on a base made up with a couple falling safes. Actually, Fozz has gained mad skillz at being floaty from all the fantabulous coaching he has received. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. JohnMitchell 16 #13 August 12, 2007 In the immortal words of Jerry Bird, "Dress for Success." I think if you jump long enough, you will see a formation from underneath. The key is in having good recovery technique and using it. When I'm in and see someone low, I try to speed up the formation. But I want to see the low person using good recovery technique, not just looking up hopelessly.People in formations should look around and see if a lot of peeps are struggling to stay with it. If so, speed it up.
Fozz 0 #14 August 12, 2007 Well for the record Jason was waiting (level with the base)for the people ahead of him to find and build their slots and when the base built it started to float I thought he did a great job and I was happy to have him on with us.John Fosgate "In the end, its always best to choose the hard right over the easy wrong." Fozz 0 #18 August 12, 2007 V You would have been welcome but I didn't really meet you until after it happened wens (I was very flattered with the # and willingness of people that WANTED to join me)I also learned what a pain in the ass organizing a load is. I never got the chance to say to you how much I respect your strength, on the days I saw you fading you really seemed to push to keep going I was very impressedJohn Fosgate "In the end, its always best to choose the hard right over the easy wrong." vskydiver 0 #19 August 12, 2007 Awe! Thanks! Yeah that was a tough boogie for me because of the sun and heat but totally worth it. I'd do it again in a heart beat. Like your sig line says... (I love that!) Ya gotta keep going. I could give it all up (and I've thought about it) but what would the point be then? OK, so next year I'll get in on all the good jumps. livendive 8 #25 August 13, 2007 Quote dude I've never seen sooo much beer on a T-shirt It was good meeting you John, and throwing a parachute over you too. As for Ed's comments, as much as it pains me to say this, Jason knows his place. He came up to me right after this jump and said, "Dude, I SOOOO just fucked the dog on that jump. Went low and barely got back up in time, just pulled the dock out of my ass right at the last second. Gonna have to work on that." Pound for pound, he's a good skydiver, and more importantly he's got a good head on his shoulders. With all that going for him, it's no wonder Carla agreed to marry him!
