SkydiveStMarys 0 #1 August 19, 2007 I find it interesting/strange that as the Weather channel is talking about the path that hurricane Dean is going to take that they make no mention of the coast line of Cuba. In fact I don't think they ever mention Cuba or their weather, at all or at any time. Is this because of the friction that the US and Cuba have between each other? Anyone? Anyone? ChrisL 2 #3 August 20, 2007 Cuba has no concerns with regard to Dean other than maybe some strong surf on the southern coast, and so it is not in the news. I dont think its political. Dean just isn't a threat to Cuba.__ My mighty steed

ryoder 1,590 #5 August 20, 2007 Castro wouldn't give Dean permission to make landfall, so Dean is boycotting Cuba. "There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.

SkydiveStMarys 0 #7 August 21, 2007 Ummmm, the Weather Channel NEVER mentions Cuba no matter what may or may not be in the area. You can hear what is happening over in Europe, China, Japan, etc. but its odd they never mention Cuba. Just wondering why. BobbiA miracle is not defined by an event.
