Sandals?

has anyone had any experience with Sandals Resorts? if so, have you liked them? are there other all inclusive resorts you would recommend, or not recommend? why? why not?

trying to plan a trip for next year - and weighing out my options - thought i'd ask :) thanks guys

My brother and his wife like the Hedonism resorts in Jamaica. Being the good sister, I'm waiting for the right time to tease him about his choice of vacation spot.

My husband and I were debating whether to go to Hedomism III or Breezes Bahamas. In the end we chose the bahamas but we still want to try out a Hedonism. I think it would be a blast.

As for Sandals, I have heard nothing but great things about their resorts. All inclusive and very nice. A little more expensive than say, Breezes, but you won't be disappointed. I know someone who has traveled all over the tropical areas of the world and Sandals came highly recommended.

Went to Sandals in the Bahamas, was really nice. Go all inclusive :-)

Went again 2 years later and the Atlantis blew it out of the water. But not in a bad way, Sandals I'd give a 9/10, just atlantis got a 15 with all inclusive :-P

Yeah but Atlantis is really expensive just for the room, I can't imagine the cost if you got all inclusive. And what does all-inclusive at Atlantis include? Some places say all inclusive but then you have to pay extra for top shelf liquor, etc.

I would love to stay there, we visited it when we were on our honeymoon. It's amazing.

All inclusive was everything. I'm 17 and the drinking age down there is 16 or 18 and not enforced so I was
As for the liqour, everything but the expensive remy stuff like king loui of course. Included every restaraunt but the highest ones were only a 20$ add-on and then it was open to all inclusive. Sandals was actually the same way with liqour, all beer and everything. Guys we went with were going shot for shot with like 85$ cognac. All liqour was included that was priced under 150$ a bottle.


They have specials though. Especially since some new mariot went down there and a few places added casinos. And it depends on which time of the year.

I've never been to sandals but, brianfry713 and I stayed at the Atlantis last year and just loved it!! It definitely wasn't cheap by any means but, less expensive than some of the big resorts I've stayed at in Hawaii and in my opinion well worth it! I would highly recommend this resort. The only thing is it is kind of like a tropical Los Vegas. I was a little disappointed at first because I was looking for more of a tropical romantic feel but, once I got used to it it was great. Plus The Ocean is as clear as a swimming pool and It was kind of neat to ride a water slide through a shark tank!
