RkyMtnHigh 0 #1 August 23, 2007 Do you collect anything unique? I collect unique nightlights from states or countries I've visited as well as collidoscopes. I used to collect Precious Moments figurines but with all of the moving, they were too fragile to travel with and they also became dust collectors. _________________________________________

skymama 37 #15 August 23, 2007 I buy a Christmas ornament from the places I've traveled to. It's neat to remember our trips when I pull out the ornament boxes every year. My daughter collects key chains and my son foreign money. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Brittentay 0 #16 August 23, 2007 my Grandmother started collections for each of us grandchildren as we were born. Mine is hearts. and every year up to my 20th birthday, for christmas, and my birthday she would send me something in the shape of a heart that made her think of me, that was made the year i was born, had my birthday on it, or was sentimental to our family in some way. i have kept each item, and although i dont add to the collection myself all that often, i love to look at it and know how much my Grandma loves me, and how much time and thought she put into each gift. brierebecca 0 #18 August 23, 2007 My mother and grandmother have given me a small collection of wee forrest folk since I was a toddler. http://www.weeforestfolk.com/index2.html I don't add to it myself, but I think they're cute. I think the only thing I can really say I collect is books. I'm anti-clutter though. My mousies are safely packed away in a shoebox. Nightingale 0 #20 August 23, 2007 When I travel, I try to find something to decorate my home with. I picked up a volcano rock trivet in Hawaii, a little juju guardian in New Orleans, an oil lamp in Death Valley, a kitchen utensil holder in Joshua tree, and a vase from Waterford, Ireland. Makes my place a little more interesting...
simplyputsi 0 #21 August 23, 2007 don't think it's unique, but I collect shot glasses. I have a bunch of baseball cards from when I collected years ago. Oh actually I collect old money, and foreign money. I have a penny from 1896 that came from Afghanistan, or that area at least. I checked the value, and it's worth not very much . I didn't see your collection of glass objects?? I can't believe I clicked on that link Skymama's #2 stalker -
