Pull-Up Cord Orientation

Recommended Posts

Best response see your local rigger/ or instructor.

Other then that simply take one free running end of the pull up cord under your main pin then tug on it slightly to have the rest of the pull up cord go under the pin.

The pull up cord should be under the pin. The closing loop should be in contact with the pin.

then slowly pull on one end of the pull up cord to remove the pull up cord. Remember to replace the closing loop if and when it gets worn (Safety). I usually rub bees wax into the closing loop area every so often and replace at least once a year or every 3 or 4 months. Sure is cheaper then having it come open during climb out etc....

in order to prevent "burn" on the closing pin.

Its the closing loop you want to protect, not the pin.

Simply get the pull up under the pin and pull it out smoothly.
Do you want to have an ideagasm?
