ACMESkydiver 0 #1 August 26, 2007 My son developed a puffy pink eye this morning out of the blue. -That's not uncommon, the boys have seasonal allergies and all...they also have a habit of poking their own eyes (don't ask, it's an Autism thing). It usually goes away. It hasn't it has gotten exponentially worse. He's screaming his head off, but we've looked into his eye and can see nothing at all. He won't look to the right at all (it's his right eye). We've tried flushing it out with water...I'm giving him icee pops (his favorite food) to try to get his mind off of it. We gave him some tylenol and Melatonin to take a nap, hoping that when he woke up it would be better (it usually is gone by the time he wakes up from a nap). Obviously I'm taking him in to the children's hospital as soon as my husband gets home in 30 minutes to watch the other boy...but WTF is this?! Pink eye can't develop THAT fast, can it? Ideas? He head-butted our china hutch on monday and shattered the glass all around him, but that was on MONDAY, and he didn't have a scratch (miraculously). I can't imagine it could be from that? This is almost a week later, and he hasn't had any problems prior to today this week.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Our boys have a habit of poking the corner of their own eyes...and we cut little Joey's finger nails yesterday after all of the damage he's been doing to us this week during his amped up rage attacks of late. I must have left a sharp corner or edge on one of his nails, because it looks like he scratched his own eye repeatedly.
