It should come as no surprise to you, however, that in the military (if you'll permit me to refer to the USCG as that ), perception is everything. You don't need to stop using your lunch box, but you are now tasked with working harder push through that perception. You don't need to hold a lunch box to express values you admire either. We are defined by our actions and that which we hold dear. In fact, an old quote by a priest educator comes to mind, it could mold to your expression of values: "One teaches to some extent, not by what you say, not by what you do, not even by who you are, but by the things you love." It's been a while since I've looked at the quote, but its's something like that. So, be what you love, and don't let a lunch box get in the way, weather you carry it or not.
