If you are and you have access to the Internet options, click the connection tab and if you're on a LAN, click the LAN settings, uncheck 'automatic settings' and uncheck 'use automatic configuration script'. However, it sounds like its the whole system that's protected... If you've got rights to install software - you could try installing Mozilla Firefox and trying that route. normiss 898 #3 August 31, 2007 you won't get past it if it's configured correctly...and your attempts to do so may affect your job. you might be able to go direct...put one of these addresses in the address bar on internet exploder: 216.178.39.13 216.178.39.16 216.178.39.15 216.178.39.14 if it's configured correctly, these won't work either...but it's possible... mamajumps 0 #5 August 31, 2007 Thanks to both of you! I have IE & Firefox... cant get by with either and the IP route works until I try to log in... Our new IT guy is a creep and no one likes him... but I dont wanna jeopardize my job anyway, I dont graduate until next May and kinda need to keep this one until then...lol So I guess I need to find some other way to entertain myself....
