The dummy drop was part of something else that was going on. At the last minute they got the idea to pretend its Billy. Then made the impromptu video. For people who talk so much smack, some of you Billy sympathisers dont really take jokes well. then again there have been some funny comments here. The following is for you Billy(not your friends) None of the people at that DZ were ugly to you till started making all those personal attacks on here and started telling lies about why the DZ was moving from Pell CIty. You said alot of ugly things about the jumpers at that DZ. things that were unwarranted, uncalled for, and untruthful. Hating skyride or the DZO's was fine. Nobody there cared about that. But you BIlly are the one that started the personal attacks on the jumpers there. They probably should have just ignored you. Honestly there behavior isnt much better than yours. But lets not forget that you instigated this. We both know you have crossed the line a couple of times here recently Billy. Your fellow posters here on DZ might not realize it. But some of your friends locally do. I hope that everyone will just get tired of this stupidity soon. I think both sides are enjoying this little rival. everyone likes to have some conflict in there lives. Neither side really has any room to pass judgement on the other. The threads here and the threads there both represent turmoil and negativity in the sport. Its just skydiving for gods sake. We shouldnt be making it such a big deal. I realize that the people that post on here are a tight knit little group that are going to defend each other no matter what. For that reason this is a never ending waste of immaturity on both sides. I just ask that you Please keep your hatred directed toward the source and not let it spill over to the jumpers at these DZ's. They are no better or worse than you! You are not the final authority on skydiving. It holds different meaning and importance to everybody. You have a opinion and thats it. If you truly have a problem with me or the way i like to skydive, then please come to the DZ and address me face to face or keep it to yourself. Personally i dont have anything against you. I think you unintentionally instigated this. I'm sure you posted here thinking that no one except your posting buddies would see it or pay it attention. then when a whole DZ looked at it and took it personally(as they should have) it blew out of proportion. Now all your posting buddies are backing you and its turned into something stupid. All the finger pointing and judgements are laughable. We have all had a good time now lets stop before we all regress any further. Its already reminiscent of 5th grade banter. Im bored with this now....I'm going to get some fresh air. Skydiving isnt this important have good day everybody and dont turn yourself into the ground. P.S whats wrong with being a packer, billy? fincher 0 #114 August 31, 2007 I believe billys passion for the anti skyride cause has caused him to make some uncalled for comments on a group of unrelated individuals. I understand that billy is passionate about his cause and unfortuneately it has blurred his judgement and caused him to make ugly judgemental statements toward the people that jump at prattville. Some of those jumpers have in return responded in ugly ways as well. I have requested that the thread at alskydiving be locked in order to stop this dumb shit. This defamation in no way helps us as skydivers or as a sport. I know it happened on your DZ's last weekend in Pell City, and the rig had an old cypres that didn't fire and the dummy impacted the ground somewhere. If it didn't hit anything, then you all are incredibly lucky. Karma's a bitch sometimes. Don't think much has gone well for you guys in Prattville since you moved there.
