A day or two later we were hearing meows coming from one room, but no kitty was to be found. Turned out little kitty got built into a bench by a contractor! So.... we left him. A co-worker found one of the 3 new kittens her cat had in the wall of the house she was rebuilding. She kept hearing meowings coming from the room and finally had to cut the wall to get him out! She named the kitty "Miracle".
