first jump video

Recommended Posts

I was watching my 1st jump video today, and I noticed a lot of stuff I did wrong. I took some captures of the images and I am uploading them to myspace. Have any of you guys ever gone back and looked at the first time you ever jumped, or when you were really new?

It was a tandem, so my instructor kept me safe, but god I bet is was hard keeping us stable... LOL

I attached some pics... enjoy!

The first jump I have video for was jump #10... it was a coach jump... did a number of things wrong in that jump... but nothing that was overtly dangerous.

I'm a bit better now then I was then... :$

Livin' on the Edge... sleeping with my rigger's wife...

You needed to put your feet up higher by bending your knees. The rest of you looked to be in a good arch. I've had worse. No worries.

How big are you? I'm guessing 6'3", 225 pounds. What have your other jumps been, AFF?:)

5'11", 235 in that pic. MOOOOO!!!

Now I am 209. Losing that much weight was tough (results not typical), but I did it. Yeah my other 3 jumps are AFF. This was over a year ago, so I am restarting AFF Level 1. I just dropped a little over a grand and paid for all 7 AFF jumps just to piss off my soon-to-be ex wife.

:D

And yeah, my legs were straight and my opening was all cockeyed because when I reached back to pull the ripcord, I didn't compensate for the airflow on my left hand.

blues ;)
