efs4ever 3 #1 September 4, 2007 Went up to Denison, TX, to do a demo at the send off BBQ for Trevor Matejowsky, a Marine headed for Iraq. LZ was a good sized field behind the house. Larry Portman and Hank Schroeder from Caddo Mills also jumped. Hank was the only one on the news clips because he carried the flag. I ended up running into everyone who who occupied the plane on my first jump out of a C 182 back in May 1978. On that day Gary Hollingshead was flying. Garry Swain was my JM. Dave Billingsley was along for the ride. I was the one with the belly wart reserve who ended up leaving the canopy in the power lines it was caught up in Dave hadn't jumped in 18 years, and he went along as a tandem pax for Trevor's Demo. Needless to say there was some pucker factor there, as he'd never done a tandem before.Russell M. Snowwhite 0 #3 September 5, 2007 How cool that all of your 'firsts' were there, and how nice of them to help honor Trevor and his family. Be sure that you let Trevor know how much I appreciate his service and that he would sacrifice his time to keep me and my family safe.skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
