Just leave the wife at home, and go elk hunting by yourself or with others.

b1jercat 0 #7 September 7, 2007 It was a happy ending and it took a lot of local people by surprise, me included. This woman was lost in rugged terrain in the middle of nowhere and survived. Not only that but she had to cope with a thunder storm on wednesday, and wasn't eaten outright by predatory animals. I haven't heard any details other than the woman is in ICU at the local hospital. The wife said it was a media circus when she went to work today. I'm here to tell you that is one tough old bird.blue skies jerry

ACMESkydiver 0 #9 September 8, 2007 Quote Doris and Harold Anderson were high school sweethearts who married 55 years ago, Bill Anderson said. Asked if he plans to take a similar elk-hunting trip, Harold Anderson replied, "Never. I'm going to spend the rest of my days with my wife." Is that not the cutest thing you ever heard in your life?!? ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.

JohnMitchell 16 #11 September 8, 2007 Get her a GPS unit for Christmas. Also a survival kit. Maybe Miss South Carolina can get her some maps. Kudos to the lady for surviving.
