Cancer patient - losing home

A friend who will be in chemo for 6 months can't afford to make the mortgage payments on their house. Does anyone know of cancer related organizations that can help them out temporarily until they can go back to work?

Have googled and going through links - looking for any advice or experience.

Have your friend contact the lender and ask for a forebearance due to sudden financial strain. Illness.

Talk to the lenders. They are STILL willing to help out. They don't like foreclosing.

There are definitely resources available for patients with cancer. Have her contact her local treatment facility to get listings of those resources.
