Football is back. Smiles come to me.

My impressions thus far:
1) Prayers for Kirk Everett of the Buffalo Bills. Darryl Stingley just died, and I don't want a replacement.

2) My prediction that "The Raiders offense can't be any worse than last year" is correct. On their current pace, they will score 48 offensive touchdowns this year - a full 400 percent more than last year. The team has the ability to be a 10-6 team - if they stop with the stoopid mistakes.

2) Detroit is worth watching. Their line is pretty good and they are stacked with receiving options. Martz has done well with them.

3) Booby Petrino, coach of the Falcons, has got to feel like the most unlucky person in the world. Harrington didn't do well. They got rid of Schaub because Vick was supposed to be the man. And Schaub did the job for houston against KC.

4) Speaking of Houston, Marios Williams is vindicating them. He had more TD's this week than Reggie Bush - and two sacks. Actually, he has 38 yards on a fumble return - what Reggie Bush had last week. And mor erushing yards than Vince Young.

5) A good kicker is a good thing. They came up big this week.

6) Tom Brady stands a legitimate chance of having a better statistical year than Peyton Manning. Brady looked like Marino out there.

My wife is hotter than your wife.
